Always store your shears with the blades closed to protect cutting edge. 

Always store shears on a flat cushioned pad or in a case assuring that they don’t touch other shears. 

Use mineral based scissor oil. Do not use clipper oil. 

At the end of each day open shear blades and apply one drop of scissor oil on the pivot point and one drop on a blade and store properly. 

If shears are dropped check for nicks. 

• If you notice nicks on the blades, a sharpening is required!

Never loosen shear screw. 

Never take shears apart.
